The Residences

The quintessential alpine village.
Lake Placid is watched over by the Adirondack’s highest peaks and situated on two tranquil lakes—with Mirror Lake at the town’s center and Lake Placid adjacent to it.
Lake Placid is best known for the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. Today, it is the home of one of only two Olympic training facilities in the United States.
As a result, the village features remarkable downhill and cross-country skiing as well as an array of one-of-a-kind activities—from bobsledding to a toboggan shoot on the lake.
An all-season destination, the warmer months offer exceptional canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and much more. Shoppers find a variety of upscale boutiques; restaurants and bakeries invite gourmands; and equestrians have virtually unlimited opportunities.
Two championship golf courses are minutes from the Lodge with several other courses nearby offering a golf experience that can be enjoyed by all.
The real allure of Lake Placid, though, is the quietude and the complete sense of escape offered by one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.
